A lifelong resident of Davidson and Williamson Counties, Hughes is a graduate of Trevecca Nazarene University with a degree in Management and Human Relations, and an Associate of Science Degree in Business Management from Columbia State College. Anita received the Coldwell Banker RISING STAR AWARD in 1999 and is a member of the INTERNATIONAL STERLING SOCIETY for being a multi-million dollar producer. She is also a lifetime member of the National Association of Female Executives. She has had a long-time background in community service, serving on the Downtown Franklin Association Board of Directors and chairing two highly successful Pumpkinfest events; President and Board Member of the Fairview Recreation Association; and various offices on both the Fairview Elementary and Middle School Parent/Teacher organizations. Hughes has worked closely with the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce and served on various committees of both the National Gas Association and the Tennessee Propane Gas Association. She is a member of the Greater Nashville Board of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
